The Beginning

My name is Anwar ul Haq, founder of K2 Healing Shilajit.

I was born and raised in the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, a region surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the world. Growing up in this environment, I was familiar with Shilajit from an early age, but I never imagined it would one day become my life’s mission.

Years later, while studying Mining Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, I developed a deep interest in mineral processing, purification systems, and natural resource extraction.

Everything changed during my 6th semester mineral processing lab.

I brought raw Himalayan Shilajit stone into the university laboratory for experimentation. What started as a simple university project quickly became an obsession with understanding how authentic Shilajit should actually be purified, processed, and tested.

The Problem I Discovered

During my research, I realized something alarming.

Much of the Shilajit sold online around the world was poorly processed, contaminated, overheated, diluted, or mixed with fillers. Many brands focused heavily on marketing while ignoring proper purification and scientific quality control.

As an engineering student, I wanted to understand the chemistry, filtration, heavy metal removal, and purification process behind authentic Shilajit.

So I started researching deeply.

I spent countless hours reading scientific studies, researching traditional purification techniques, testing filtration methods, and experimenting with different processing systems to preserve purity while removing impurities safely.

That research eventually became the foundation of K2 Healing Shilajit.

Sourced from the Himalayas

Our Shilajit is sourced directly from high-altitude regions above 16,000 feet in the Himalayas of Gilgit-Baltistan with the help of local mountain communities.

These extreme environments, untouched by industrial pollution, are where authentic mineral-rich Shilajit naturally forms over centuries.

Unlike many commercial suppliers, we are directly involved in sourcing the raw material ourselves instead of relying on unknown third-party traders.

This allows us to maintain better quality control from the very beginning.

Our Purification Process

At K2 Healing Shilajit, purification is treated as a scientific process, not just a marketing claim.

Our purification system combines traditional knowledge with modern processing techniques to maintain authenticity while improving safety and cleanliness.

The process includes:
